Why we exist

Avail was set up to assist mission workers – to ‘serve those who serve’. Some mission workers prefer to operate independently and are allowed to do so. But experience has taught us that to do so can often expose mission workers to unnecessarily challenging circumstances and serious difficulties.

Over the years it has become very clear that the level of support required has grown, and Avail seeks to address these new needs.

Avail seeks to glorify Jesus Christ by providing spiritual, emotional and practical support to mission workers in partnership with churches.

Who we serve

There are two levels of involvement, partners and associates.

  • Partners are able to benefit from the full range of services that Avail offers.
  • Associates receive a limited benefit by a negotiated agreement.
