The very reason that Avail exists is because of Keith and Christine. They were hard-up missionaries in Malawi when one of the trustees paid them a visit and discovered they needed support. It wasn’t hard raising help for friendly, outgoing and happy people. In time they moved back to the UK and continued to serve the Lord in many situations, pastoring, evangelising, and teaching.
It was only when we met at a conference in 2022 that we realised they were teaching the scriptures to hundreds of people all over the world via Zoom. Recently Keith was appointed Vice Principal of the Global Mission Bible Institute.
We can’t name all the places they are reaching but we can say it is an amazing, fruitful and thrilling ministry. The teachings are translated into various languages and posted on Facebook and YouTube; others go out on an Internet TV station.
It is encouraging to hear of people being blessed and saved through the thousands of booklets they have given away, including popular titles such as ‘Happiness Secrets’ and ‘How to Stop Worrying and Start Praying.’
They have launched evangelism and discipleship training programs which now reach beyond the UK.
It is such a thrill they are fully with the Avail family again and we are delighted to serve them.
If you think ‘Wow!’ we can only agree. Although retired, they are not winding down any time soon, something that is captured in their own words: “Although we are retired (re-tyred, recycled), the Lord has opened up a worldwide ministry on Zoom.’’
