Forget Me Not

Forget Me Not is our child sponsorship scheme. Over the years we have seen the difference your donations have made to children in many countries around the world.

You cannot change cultural behaviour and attitudes but you can save a child from hunger, illness and death. Through the Forget Me Not scheme children have been saved from all these. With your help we can continue to change lives for good.

How It Works

Identify

We work with field coordinators, whose role is firstly to identify children who need help.

Seek

Our field coordinators provide information to Avail’s head office to seek support and sponsorship.

Provide

After a sponsor is found, our coordinators will update them annually and ensure that the child receives the necessary help.

How You Can Help

Here are our current programmes:

Alive

For £10/month this provides basic living needs such as food and soap.

Well & Alive

For £15/month this provides a fund for health care in addition to basic needs.

Identify

For £20 a month this provides education in addition to basic needs and health care.

Sponsors can donate by setting up a standing order (direct debit is not available). Once we have received the first donation we post out a card with information on the child; the annual updates then follow.
