Your gifts to support Avail is greatly appreciated

It has been very encouraging to experience the amount of support received over the past few years. Please accept our thanks as the mission continues to be blessed.

We accept donations for individuals/families or for a project.

We also accept donations to be used for our expenses or for a need we know about.

We can receive donations via bank transfers, cheques, through PayPal and cash.

Benefits for those working as an Associate

Becoming an Associate member of Avail is for those who are either already in, or planning to work in, Christian mission and want Avail to support them in a limited way.

Associates are typically those:

  • Registered with another mission.
  • Engaged in a community-based work in their local area.
  • In full time employment in the UK and overseas.
  • Retired from mission but wanting to continue in a part time capacity.
  • Who can serve part time alongside other commitments.

A discussion will provide us with the best way to assist you but the main benefits are that we:

  • Will handle donations for you, making available our Gift Aid registration for UK taxpayers.
  • Are prepared to handle large one-off gifts but will charge a 1% handling fee for gifts over £5,000.
  • Feature you on our website (unless your location or work is sensitive).
  • Circulate to prayer supporters a monthly a 30-word prayer request (‘Prayer Prompt’) which you
must agree to send us every month.

If we suffer lean financial times, we reserve the right to charge you £200 per annum for administration but we haven’t done that in 40 years!

Becoming a member of Avail is for those who are either already in, or planning to work in, Christian mission and want Avail to support them. Partners are those who are not registered with another mission and are full time in their Christian service.

If requested we can help

We hope to prepare a professionally made video of you and put it on our website.

When you return home after a long time abroad, we will require you to attend a debrief counselling session (available only in UK only) which we will pay for. For those of you whose home is not the UK or Ireland, we will need to rely on you to recommend somebody.
